I would NOT recommend this place. I am here for skilled nursing to receive rare antibiotic IV every 8 hrs for 3 weeks. Before being transferred from the hospital they said I would be able to leave the facility for a few hours during the day for lunch, visits with family, ECT. Once admitted I was told I am not allowed until the Dr approved it and that Medicare didn’t allow it. 3 days later I saw the Dr and she said that because of Medicare and federal regulations I could not leave. I confirmed Medicare and fed govt have no such regulations. Later the Dr returned and said she would allow me to leave for 3 hrs every 10 days. That was all she could do. Still fighting that issue. Healthcare is very scary. IV drip time was wrong, nurses didn’t clear air bubbles from saline flush, didnt follow sterile protocol for PICC line and more. Would rather be in the hospital than here.

Would NOT recommend. I am in skilled nursing to receive a rare antibiotic IV every 8 hrs for 3 weeks. I would like to leave the facility in the day between treatments to go to lunch, shower at home, visit with friends and so on. I am NOT allowed to leave per the in house Dr more than 3 hrs every 10 days. She said it was because of Medicare and federal health rules. I have checked with both and there are no such rules. In fact they encourage people to get out of the facility for outings. They also will not allow family members to transport me to Dr appts. They said they must provide the transportation due to liability issues. This is also false. If I am signed out by a family member then responsibility is transferred to them until I return. Food is very poor, infection prevention is also sub standard. This is getting very close to mental abuse by keeping me held prisoner at their facility.

My husband came to Winding Trails for his last days during hospice. The staff treated him with such loving kindness and for that I am so grateful! They were attentive and genuine in their warmth and tenderness with him. Thank you for lifting our spirits with your compassion during this deeply challenging time!

As an advocate for my neighbors who are residing at Winding Trails Post Acute, I have been very impressed with every staff member that works at the nursing facility. I have witnessed each staff member demonstrate consistent genuine compassion, care and intentional empathy towards all of the residents. All of the administrative directors, nursing staff, managers and front desk attendants have always engaged visitors and residents with a positive, warm, and friendly attitude. They are an exceptional team that you can tell work well together to provide the best care for their residents and clients.

If I could give this place zero stars I would in a heartbeat. The nurses let patients set in dirty pants for hours, don’t respond to call light, refuse to give patients Tylenol and medication for their upset stomach or medication for a cold. Their own head of physical therapy lies to the patients family members when asked if the patient can go home. Their own nurse hurt a patient while trying to place a catheter and to this day she still hurts. Their food tastes like crap I wouldn’t eat or feed it my own dog.
Winding Trails Post Acute is an awesome place. I really appreciate how they took good care of my mother by providing her with all her needs. It is a very clean facility and staff are amazing. Most of all, I really Love Arun. He is always on top of his work and makes sure that everyone is satisfied at the end of the day. I highly recommend this place if your looking for a place for a loved one.

I haven’t been a direct client, but I’ve worked with this team professionally and can say they are organized, responsive, and genuinely great people to work with. It’s clear they care about what they do and the people they work with.

These folks are on top of it. My mother went in with an injury and was out as quickly as she went in with confidence that she could go back home and not back into assisted living special kudos to Sean and the other therapists, and all other staff members down to the people who keep the rooms clean that were enjoyable to work with, and they are very good communicators in every aspect, I highly recommend them.

The staff at Winding Trails genuinely care. Hands down the best care in Boulder.
If i could leave zero stars i would. you neglected my grandmother and she died of sepsis. Not to mention the disgusting display of “empathy” where the condolence card had a “review us” card in it.

This facility has an incompetent, apathetic nursing staff. They rarely answer the phone. My mother’s room was often dirty. The food looked as unappetizing as it tasted. My mother had to wait for long periods of time before she got a diaper change. My mother deserved much better
